How to Delete Users?

Learn how to remove users from your incubator in AcceleratorApp.

Feature Location
To delete users, go to the Community section >  User Management. This section allows you to search, filter, and manage user accounts.

Step-by-Step Actions

1. Find the User

Use the search bar, filters, or scroll to locate the user you want to remove.

2. Open User Options

  • Scroll right and click the three vertical dots next to the user's name.
  • This will open the user editor menu.

3. Delete the User

  • In the side modal that appears, scroll down and click the Delete button.
  • Confirm the action when prompted to finalize the deletion.

4. Archive or Inactivate Users

If you prefer not to delete users but still want to restrict their access to the app, you can update their status to 'inactive'. This approach keeps their data intact while preventing further access, ensuring you can retain valuable information for future use or reactivation if needed.

  • Ensure the user does not have active responsibilities before deleting.
  • Deleting a user is permanent; consider disabling the account instead if future access is needed.
  • Use filters to quickly find users by role or activity status.

  • Deleting duplicate accounts to maintain data accuracy.
  • Offboarding staff or mentors who are no longer part of the incubator.
